UPDATE: Attorneys for Richard Scrushy have withdrawn their appeal (pdf) of the issuance of a writ requiring Scrushy to return to Birmingham to give a deposition in the consolidated class action cases related to the accounting fraud at HealthSouth during Scrushy’s tenure.
