Representative Beck Passes Away

Warren BeckI am sorry to hear that Rep. Warren Beck (R – Geneva) has passed away. He was 65.

He is the second state Representative to pass away in recent months. Rep. Lea Fite (D – Anniston) died in October. State Senator Pat Lindsay (D – Butler) died a little over a year ago in January 2009.

Have known Warren and his entire family for many years. Great folks. Warren always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He was one Republican who had lots of friends on the other side of the aisle. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

  • Warren was a good, honorable man and an outstanding Representative for his area and this State. It was an honor to serve with him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

  • Warren Beck was a cheerful, honest man. When he gave his word, you could count on it. He represented his district well, and I already miss him.
