What happened to the deep bench Joe Turnham bragged about in District 5?

Just when you thought a trip to the beach couldn’t get any more expensive:

Thanks a lot Tim James. He vacations in the Bahamas on his $70 million dollars from selling this bridge to nowhere while the working stiffs pay off his debt. Can’t wait to see how he spins this one in his campaign for Governor.

He was talking alot about the bridge at the beginning of his campaign havent heard to much about it lately though.
I did hear that they were not making money off of it down there
something about the numbers were not adding up to what he said it would bring in…

Who was saying that Robert Bentley was untainted yesterday? I went to his website and found this juicy tidbit:

    http://www.robertbentley2010.com/index.php?mact=News,cntnt01,detail,0&cntnt01articleid=67&cntnt01origid=15&cntnt01returnid=65

Its even more gushing for Parker Griffin than Bobly Byrne’s was. Mo Brooks and Tea Party people have you seen this? What the heck is Bentley doing acting like the GOP Establishment Apparatus? Disgusting!

Adding links is easy just a bit of additional typing:

<a href=”http://www.your_link.com”>your link text or description here</a>a href=”http://www.your_link.com”>your link text or description here</a>

Comments with about two or more links hit the spam filters. Those keep us from being awash with posts linking to bargains in the Serbian stock market, betting lines on Thai soccer, malicious links, etc.

Legislative Dispatch

A Look from the Rearview Mirror

This Thursday will mark the last day of the legislative Session.  For some, it was a Session that seemed would never end.  For others, it was one that ended much too quickly.  It may be early, yet, to write an obit on this Session, but as we approach the finish line, some perspective may be in order.

Putting Students First

As you know, a very important piece of legislation will be presented for our consideration in the House tomorrow in Montgomery – Senate Bill 310 – the “Students First” tenure and fair dismissal reform bill. Like me, many House members have been inundated with phone calls and emails from opponents of this bill, and some have been [...]

Legislative Transparency

There are a lot of issues to debate before we begin the final days of this session. In fact, I am quite certain there will be some comments on this post debating many of them. Before we get into the last seven day of the session I wanted to bring up a topic that [...]
