It’s official: Trey Glenn has just announced to the Alabama Environmental Management Commission that he is resigning as ADEM Director.
He tells the EMC that it is time to write the next chapter in his life, thanks the AEMC for their support and the service they provide, and thanks the professional staff.
In his remarks, he notes ADEM accomplishments including a “high performing transparent environment.”
John Hagood is named interim Director. Hagood, a Eufaula native, has served as an attorney for the Director’s office and is not expected to be an applicant for the job.
The resignation is effective at 5 pm today and has been accepted by the EMC.
