BOOBS…Excuse me.
Wise will win.
She’s already got it in the bag. Solid Republican support, and the Dems don’t have any money to challenge her.
Congrats Justice Wise.
Wow. Justice Kelli Wise. Can’t the Repubs find a better candidate?
Butterfly.
Mullet, why would the Repubs want to find a better candidate? As DemPrime has already indicated, Wise has this thing locked up. I do take issue with the contention that there will be no money in this race from the Dems. It’s an open seat with an opportunity to change the dynamics of the Court. Expect the money to be there for the right candidate. Speaking of the right candidate, James Anderson has been meeting with Sue Bell’s media guy.
How about finding a lawyer who has had success and is well regarded. There are plenty of them out there. You really can’t seriously suggest that she is well qualified.
Judge Wise has a good record on the Criminal Appeals Court, is a level-headed thinker, and will make an excellent Supreme Court Justice.
I agree with John Killian.
Is this the same James Anderson that’s running for Attorney General, the House seat in Montgomery, Tom Parker’s Court seat and for the Heisman against Obama?
i like kelli fine but she seems to be on the ballot all the damn time………..maybe that’s all in my head……..
She has been on the ballot a lot, its just that since Wise was elected in 2000 she has been mentioned as a potential Supreme Court race in each election since then.
What exactly did Wise do before she got herself elected to the Alabama Court of Criminal Affirmances?
My bad – Judge Wise had NOT been on the ballot a lot.
She just always had her name mentioned as a Supreme Court. The reason for that is she is an attractive candidate.
And when she is elected to the Supreme Court – you will her mention of her for Chief Justice in 2012.
Don’t know if she would want to run – but people will ask her to run.
