Hats off to Dana Beyerle of the New York Times Regional Media Group and Sebastian Kitchen of the Montgomery Advertiser who have been recognized by readers of the Washington Post’s The Fix as the best political reporters in the state.

Dana is what Dana does. It’s a shame the Birmingham SNews and the Mobile Press-Regurgitator don’t pick up more of his stories.
