 Charley Grimsley tells the Political Parlor that he is entering the race for state Treasurer. Grimsley was chief of staff for Hinton Mitchem when Mitchem was Senate President pro tem. Considering the comments by gubernatorial candidate Bill Johnson last week on Gov. Riley, Riley’s family, and potential conflicts of interest… readers remind me that they are all the more interesting given that Johnson’s wife is still on Riley’s staff as Director of the Alabama Broadband Initiative.
