Just curious–former Mobile Mayor Mike Dow has long harbored ambitions to run for Governor. Frankly, Mayor Dow would be a strong candidate, could likely raise money, and would have a strong base in Mobile. Why is his name not mentioned as a possibility for Governor? Has he publicly declined the chance to run?
Mind you, I am not emcouraging him, since I am supporting TIM JAMES. But just wondering. But for some reason, some Democrats seem to continue a push for someone besides the two announced Democrats.

That’s a little harsh Goat Hill! Are you Perry Hooper? j/k Susan Parker is one of the few politicians that tries to help people I have never heard anyone say anything negative about her or her husband. She has also has opened up the PSC and acually shows up to work. I think she would make a good Governor one day.

Susan Parker has tried the big league once (her attempt to unseat Jeff Sessions in the U.S. Senate race). I don’t think she’ll be as easily convienced of that mistake again. Don’t expect to see her name near the top of the ballot ever again. She’ll be completely happy to serve on the PSC and live off the taxpayer dollars the rest of her career. Somebody has to support her husband Paul!
