Yes, I know he has not announced but from the writing on the wall so to speak, an announcement will be forthcoming. I think Byrne will add some weight to the GOP field that otherwise is lacking. James and Byrne seem to me, the only real candidates at this point as I don't feel Ivey will get very far. Is anyone hearing much from the Byrne camp? James will be nowhere near the frontrunner when the polling starts. So big claims of James support are only setting up for a fall when he fails to meet expectations. It does not matter anyway. He the one guy running who can't get the Republican nod. Bentley would have a better shot at winning a runoff. Now James probably can get to 10% easier than Bently, but beyond that forget about it.
