There is nothing preventing any politician from doing what’s right with regard to campaign financing – insisting all contributions, ad buys, etc. go directly to the campaign and not through the money laundering system of PACs, political parties or any third party and making that information publicly available right away.

Hard, yes. It’s sometimes a sacrifice to do what’s right.

There are a lot of things that are legal that are not necessarily right. Since you’re not going to do what’s right, just be straight up and tell the truth; politics is not about doing what’s right. It’s not about doing what’s best for all citizens. It’s simply about getting and maintaining power and taking care of yourselves and a small group of citizens at the expense of everyone else. Both parties make excuses and lie and then rationalize why that’s acceptable.

Politicians and their pimps find it easier to use their PR machines to pretend they’re doing what’s right.

It’s all a joke and this from a state full of politicians who fill the pews on Sunday morning. The truth is they’re pretty much all televangelists. Ninety-nine percent of all politicians will not sacrificing getting elected for doing what’s right, especially on a statewide level, regardless of their rhetoric.
