Journey with Roy Moore, Artur Davis

Speaking of Roy Moore and gubernatorial candidates (as we were)…

Birmingham’s Fox6 News anchor Rick Journey talked to Roy Moore in this online interview last month.  And last week he talked to Democratic candidate Artur Davis.

I intended to watch them before I posted the links, but there is a power outage here now.  Not going to use the battery power I have for that.

Roy Moore is the Harold Stassen of Alabama politics . . .only Stasssen had a more realistic shot at election. So did Shorty Price. Only Shorty was less of a joke than Roy . . .and certainly not nearly as pathetic.

Journey with Roy Moore? Hey I know Steve Perry quit Journey but to replace him with ROY MOORE? Does this mean goodbye “Wheel In The Sky” hello “Onward Christian Soldiers”???????

I am intrigued by Davis’ answer on electronic gambling. It will disappoint the people paying for Sweet Home Alabama but it hardly situates him in the anti-gambling camp either, and it contains some artful but veiled jabs at Riley’s position. I wonder if Davis’ deliberate middle ground gets him more points than Sparks “I have my personal doubts, but the people should decide.”
