Well crap.
guess all that big talk about there being a “movement” to oust hubbard was from some folks whose influence is minimal. all bark, no bite.
THANK GOODNESS SCOTT BEASON WAS NOT ELECTED.
Marty Connors defeated again
I, for one, am happy to see that Mike will be able to follow through with the 2010 campaign that he and Riley have been working on. Good for Mike – now the hard work begins.
This is great news for Democrats. One can only hope the same brainless GOP political consultants will remain in the employ of the party. Things will only get better when Hubbard throws his hat in the Governors race. This is a great day for the Alabama Democratic Party. This is another example of the talents of Bob Riley. He has passed enough political favors around the party leaders would sign over all their assets if Riley asked them to. Give Riley his credit he has the charisma of Jim Jones.
John, you must have been passed up for a promotion or job lately. you obviously are disgruntled, go for a walk or listen to music or something, maybe a therapist, something to relieve your pain and stress.

More people opposed to Mike on this board, than on the entire Republican Executive Committee. The vote was unanimous, which most place means your members like the way things are being run.
Mike only has to please about a dozen people to keep his position. At the rate he is going, he’ll soon be pleasing that dozen ONLY.
I forget – how is that possible “Mike only has to please about a dozen people to keep his position”? Aren’t there like 250 people on the Executive Committee?
over 350 people on the executive committee, but i’m sure only “about a dozen” of them vote. “i forget,” just because you probably posted on here months ago that mike didn’t have support, and were subsequently proved wrong, please don’t insult the rest of the people here by trying to throw out yet another baseless claim
Stalin used to get unanimous votes too. Guess people loved the job he was doing . . . .
