Langford Indictment Unsealed Posted by Danny, on December 1st, 2008, at 10:09 amThe 101 count federal indictment of Birmingham Mayor Larry Langford, William Blount, and lobbyist Albert LaPierre includes charges of “conspiracy, bribery, fraud, money laundering, and filing false tax returns in connection with a long-running bribery scheme related to bond and other financial transactions of Jefferson County, Alabama,” according to U.S. Attorney Alice Martin in a press conference just now. Thanks for a balanced, informative account of the arrest and aftermath. A lot of local blogs are downright gleeful about this, which seems short-sighted.
Does anyone indicate that he is Democrat?
