The decision by U.S. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer to cancel his plans to host the fundraiser tonight for AL-03 candidate Josh Segall certainly makes it appear that the AL-03 race is not the highest priority for the national Democrats. Does the DCCC’s decision to move Segall into their Red-to-Blue program have any practical benefit to Segall’s campaign?
Related, the Cook Political Report this week has moved the AL-03 race between Segall and GOP incumbent Mike Rogers from Solid Republican to Likely Republican.

Pure speculation about Hoyer. Segall’s chances get better every day. Especially with more bad economic news. Rogers voted to bailout AIG who is trying to get a third bailout. Remember that.
