    My God. How sad.

Earth to Twinkle: the PSC has NOTHING to do with GOP politics. It REGULATES UTILITIES.

Why are you running as if this was a congressional race?

Didn’t a newspaper ask her what being pro-life had to do with the PSC?

I am a GOP voter and I do not understand how she won this primary. I am holding my nose while voting for her because Lucy is not much better. What an uninspiring line up.

I love all of the people on this website who say they are Republicans and then confess that they will be voting for the democrat. How stupid do they think we are?

Twinkle is an intelligent, hard-working person who will do a good job on the PSC. I don’t have anything against Lucy Baxley, but she is part of the democrat establishment that already holds the other two seats on the PSC with Jan Cook and Susan Parker.

Twinkle won the primary because she was the superior candidate. She should win the general election for the same reason.

I don’t like it when a candidate for an office gives the wrong reasons to vote for them.

This is an administrative job – not a political soapbox. It insults my intelligence for someone running for PSC to call the other candidate a “liberal” – that has NOTHING to do with this job!!!!

If I went in for a job as an engineer and they asked me why I was qualified and I said “because I am pro-life” they would throw me out on my arse. So should it be with Twinkle. Silly campaigns deserve defeat.

What would you say are qualifications necessary to sit on the PSC? They really don’t do much.

Good point at 5. The thing here is that it is definitely NOT a partisan job, and Twinkle is making partisan politics her whole basis for seeking the position. Seems bad. She should be sent home.

    Twinkle, Twinkle, little star
    GOP is what you are!

We would be folly to always vote party lines every single time. I am Republican and will vote Twinkle, but not willingly because she is not a good candidate. Not every candidate brought forth by either party is always the right person for the job.

Inside baseball folks. The average Alabamaian heard two phrases “Conservative” and “lower your utility rate”

This ad is disgusting and if the people of Alabama fall far it, I will be devastated. Lucy Baxley is not a career politician, she’s a dedicated public servant who didn’t get involved in politics until she was over 55 years old. On the other hand, Twinkle has held only political positions. Lucy Baxley is the best person for this job, and will put the people’s interests first. If Twinkle won, she would put the GOP and her very own interests first. It’s that simple.
