AL-05: Griffith Response Ad

AL-05 Democratic candidate Parker Griffith has an ad responding to Republican opponent Wayne Parker and Parker’s latest ad. The beginning of the ad has nice things to say about Griffith’s medical career but, on the face of it, does not directly address the points or allegations made by the Wayne Parker campaign. The end of the ad, however, is direct.

You may see it here in .wmv format.

What’s up with all the blinking by Griffith at the end of the ad? Looks like the telltale sign of a liar. Talk about the reason you resigned from Huntsville Hospital Griffith! Of course you are endorsed by medical organizations who have no idea that your sealed records from your days at the hospital were sealed to avoid lawsuits. Keep blinking honey. You don’t have my vote.

Not a big deal, but something that jumped out at me: This is the first ad where I’ve seen the candidate say, “I approved this ad” rather than “I approved this message.”

Why is it that all the Griffith staffers have to show as backup about their candidate’s shady doctor past, where he bilked cancer patients to get extra money, is this Doctor Cotter guy? Only one person dragged out again and again will back up Griffith’s claim, which he refuses to address. And yet at least three doctors and countless citizens caught in the crossfire of Griffith’s selfish income padding have affirmed that he chose greed over the health of patients. Horrible.

3 doctors? Dr. Williams (who lost his private practice and now is an ER doc at the worst hospital in the state) is the only person who has come out against Dr. Griffith. I guess you are considering the guys that wrote the report the other two? Well, one is dead (and his did not even implicate Dr. Griffith, it was aimed at Dr. Olive). And the other doctor won’t speak out against Dr. Griffith (he is probably mad that his report is being misused).

As for doctors supporting Dr. Griffith, there are dozens of them. He has the endorsement of the American Medical Assoc. and the national oncology group.

So, the only doctor speaking out against Griffith is Williams, who is not even an oncologist (and never was).

    This story is dead.

Dr. Cotter seems to be the most credible source to me. He was there and has real credentials as a radiation oncologist.

Actually the story is far from over. Dr. Cotter admitted that HH patients were mistreated multiple times. He also filed a lawsuit against HH whining that he didn’t get to be the head of the oncology department and then left. Guess what? The HH story is just beginning. Dr. Cotter’s knee deep in it, Griffith is knee deep in it, and the sad fact is, the patients are the losers. Just wait, the story is not dead, sadly that was a poor choice of words #7 because there literally are people who paid the ultimate price for Griffith’s greed. It was greed, plain and simple. Dr. Williams is one of actually 4 doctors on the side of the HH story that Griffith bilked patients for extra money.

The man is a criminal at best and a murderer at worst. This is not hidden news, either. If you’ve lived in Huntsville long enough, the truth is out.

Dr. Griffith, frankly, belongs in jail, but of course since he is extremely wealthy and a known bully, it will takes lots of litigation. But sooner or later, crooks like him get what they deserve.

Medical endorsements mean little when there are previously sealed documents of fraudulent behavior that associations do not know about until after the endorsements have been given.

Griffith pretends he is a conservative because he would never be elected if everyone knew that 1. he accepts money from Rangel, Pilosi and supporters of abortion 2. he repeatedly, over four times, refused to vote on stricter illegal immigration legislation 3. refuses to answer the questions about his medical past beyond some vague line about “anti-trust” in reference to resigning from his job.

Bullies file lawsuits when they know they are about to be fired. Griffith filed a lawsuit and was smacked down by the judge who flat out told Griffith he filed the lawsuit as payback for the fact that he was about to be fired.

Please fellow district 5 residents, demand the truth from Griffith. Don’t let this monster get elected!
