Democratic nominee Bobby Bright went back on the air today on Montgomery television in his campaign for the 2nd Congressional District seat. As mentioned here yesterday, he put up a new 60-second TV spot in the Dothan market that you may see here. The 30 second spot that is running in Montgomery now is this one that had been running in Dothan.

Whoopee
…Yawn…
it’s about time. bright wins.
I have re]searded Bright ,He also has a good web site and the City of Montgomery site will tell you alot about him he’s very smart and knows what he is doing. If we lose him we will be lost a good one !!
don’t worry – the city of mgm will not lose him as mayor…
Again I ask, why doesn’t Bobby say that he’s running as a Democrat. Has he ever said that the name Barack Obama?
I have a question. It appears that the sole reason anyone can cite to vote for Love is the “R” besides his name. Sure, he is not honest about his record, he is a longtime supporter of public sector unions etc. etc. but all that is trumped by the “R”.
If the GOP continues to hand nominations to people with no record of achievement simply because they are cozy with the party establishment (read: Mike Hubbard) they are going to have difficulty in traditionally Republican districts – just as they are now.
#7,
I don’t know that Love was “handed” the nomination by the GOP. As I recall, there were at least five candidates in that primary. Although I agree that Love is not an impressive candidate, he will win in November simply because he is a Republican. Moreover, will Bright ever admit that he is a Democrat.
Keep drinking the elephant piss kool aid. You’ll wake up sticky and red on November 25th.
I don’t understand the references to “sticky and red” and to November 25th, but the kool aid does taste good.
