Task Force Chair Returns Volley to Popular Talk Show Host

Quill Pen, Ink Bottle, and PapersRep. Cam Ward (R - Alabaster), Chairman of the Alabama Autism Task Force, takes issue with remarks made by popular conservative radio talk show host Michael Savage on the subject of autism. Rep. Ward blogs about it here.

  4. Savage’s comments have again been taken out of context. Look on his website and he has links to most of his various discussions of the condition, including an interview with a leading psychiatrist in the field. Don’t play into Media Matters’ tricks by making Savage the bad guy- Al Quaeda is the bad guy. Don’t forget that, and fight for free speech.

  5. He said 99% of all cases of autism are a fraud. He does the right to free speech and we should all exercise our rights and denounce his lunacy.
