Summer Addition to the Parlor

I am pleased to tell readers of a summer addition to the Parlor. Turns out that the new guy working on the mowers in the back room is willing to come up front and blog for us at least occasionally also. From now into August, Lucius will offer an end-of-the-week look at stories that are overlooked or that might deserve a little extra consideration.

Get far enough off the interstate, and you’ll find Alabamians on front porches interested in talking about whatever comes to mind. In honor of the folks we know like that, Lucius will call his segment the “Dirt Road Dispatch.”
