It’s awkward when relationships that sour become public spectacle.
The Alabama State Board of Trustees rebuked one of their own, Joe Reed, the #2 man at AEA and chair of the Alabama Democratic Conference, with a resolution that begins…
Whereas, Joe L. Reed has completely and utterly destroyed any and all confidence in his commitment to positively represent the University and its legacy;

Couldn’t have happened to a nicer thug.
The skids have been greased. Wonder how long he’ll stay at AEA.
Be it further resolved, that “Acadome” is not a word.
I was more impressed with:
Whereas, Joe L. Reed never played basketball and never actively supported the ASU basketball program in any way or form, financial or otherwise;
But Acadome is a word if ASU says it is haha. If you are not familiar with the structure it was built with the dual purpose of providing a domed stadium (be jealous Birmingham) for ASU basketball and also to house classrooms underneath, hence it was an Academic Dome…Acadome.
I guess ASU is just left to hope that Hubbert and the AEA will just give them a “tap on the wrist” and won’t be “vindictive” (http://www.gulfeast.com/index.php/OAN_Political_Blog/comments/hubberts_pyrrhic_victory/).
