AL-05 Pre-primary reports

What follows will be pointers to the pre-primary reports for the AL-05 congressional candidates. These reports cover 4/1/08 to 5/14/08, so check the FEC for updates.

The first mention of the candidates name will be a pointer to a list of reports filed by the candidate’s committee with the Federal Election Commission, any new reports should be in that list. Where possible links to lists of donors and expenses will be given in evident places.

George C. Barry filed by mail, so a PDF or a series of scanned images is all that’s available. He received $17,775.82 from individuals, $846.02 from himself, spent $14,876.43 and was left with $3745.41. Please refer to the PDF for details

Parker Griffith in his on line filing shows receiving $103,395.80 from individuals, $87,100.00 from PACs, spent $21,515.49, refunded a $1000 donation and was left with $280,243.31.

Cheryl Baswell Guthrie reports having raised $62850.00 from individuals and $256,200 from herself. She spent $307,180.75 and is left with $11.869.52.

Mark Huff has no reports on file with the FEC

David Maker has no findable reports on file with the FEC

Angelo “Doc” Mancuso in his report shows he loaned his campaign $120,000 and spent $59,619.60 of it, leaving him with $60380.40 on hand. His expense report shows paying the campaign committee for advertising, so its not exactly clear where the money went.

Ray McKee in his report has individual donations of $10,205, a loan of $11,174.36, expenses of $30,197.42 and is left as of 5/14/08 with $15,885.37.

Wayne Parker raised $100,887.00 from individuals and $10500 from PACs. He spent $156,781.23 and had $131,404.77 cash on hand.

From here, it looks like Griffith has the fund raising round of the pre-primary phase won.
