Pre-Primary Reports for AL-01 and AL-04

Below the fold (to borrow from the newspapers) is info about these House races.

AL-04 incumbent, Robert Aderholt, in his pre-primary report shows for the period 4/1/08 to 5/14/08, he has received
$ 74,600.00, expended $ 19367.92, has a campaign debt of $ 100,000 (unsecured personal load to a local bank) with
$ 435,010.76 cash on hand

Aderholt’s fund raising shows he has received more from individuals (57%) than PACs. His expenses show consultations with fund raisers in April.
Nicholas Sparks, shows for the same period, he raised $ 19,836.00, spent $ 5,395.86 and has $ 14,440.14 cash on hand. Sparks report is a PDF document instead of the usual format for some reason.
Sparks’s fund raising has been from individuals and includes $ 3486.00 of his own money.

Greg Warren reports raising $ 11,836.04, spending $ 7876.49 and ends up on 05/14/08, with $ 3971.60 in cash on hand. His campaign owes him $ 17250.51.
Warren reports he donated $ 11,240.00 to his campaign with the balance coming from individuals.

In AL-01 Thomas E Fuller reports no donations or expenses to the Federal Election Commission

Jo Bonner, the incumbent, in his pre-primary report shows recieving $ 43,500, spending $23,670.89 and has
$ 503,281.44 cash on hand as of 5/14/08.

About 52% of donations for this period came from individuals and the rest from PACs. His expenses include donations to other GOP candidates

In these two races, the incumbents have a definite lead in fund raising and for whatever reason, their opposition are not attracting attention from the varied committees out there.
