Anonymous in #8, I actually had occasion to meet Glynn for the first time recently, and he was quite nice. A good guy. I have no idea if he even applied for this, but if he were to attend, he would serve his audience well. Mooncat, I would <i>love</i> to go to the GOP Convention. Many real-life considerations made it feasible to only go to one convention, so I applied for the one where I thought the action would be. The GOP race effectively ended much earlier, and the Dems had talk of a floor-fight or a deadlock at the convention. Plus, the Democrats were overall more intentional about encouraging bloggers to attend (arranging for one per state and more, etc.).
