Following up on Comment #3, it appears as if she might be confused about the difference between raising and loaning money. According to the FEC report, she has loaned herself $256,000. (She has also loaned herself another $55,000 since the May 15th deadline for the reporting period - for a total of $311,000) She has only raised $62,000. I also thought it was interesting she has taken down her press release that announced she had raised $200,000 and the link to that press release has also been disabled on this web site. Senator Shelby switched parties 14 years ago - the day after the historic 1994 elections. Unless she is much younger than she looks, she was supporting Richard Shelby when he was a Democrat. Her mother was a deGraffenreid so this makes sense. Also, commitments and cash on hand are entirely different things.
