I challenge anyone who doesn't believe Love is a liar and will stoop to anything to further his ambitions to call Bob Mckee, or anyone with direct knowledge, and ask him about the ad that ran the day before their election. It was a blatant lie. When asked about it later, Lovey Boy said "Well that's politics." Well it is not just politics Lovey Boy, who tarnished a good man's character (of which you have none).

Yep - Knight is a Democrat. But he is exactly right about Lyin' Love, Jay Isuzu himself . . .

Speaking of raising taxes, though, that's something John Knight and Jay Love can agree on - just like Love agreed with Knight on 9 separate huge tax hike votes in 2003 . . .

Let me make sure I have this right... John Knight called Jay Love a liar. That does it! I'm voting for Jay Love! To think a democrat would call a republican a liar. The next thing you know the dems will try to raise our taxes!!! Good job Mr. Love!

I bet John Knight voted FOR the double dipping bill?

Jay Love and his supporters are really going over the top in lying in this campaign so it is good to know they are now lying again with this Bedford thing. Apparently they think that it works, but hey - lying on a monumental scale worrked for Jay in 2002.

By the way, John Knight called Jay a liar on the floor of the House on Wednesday - on the record.

No truth to that at all. That is such a blatant lie that not even Jay Love would tell it.

Harri Anne is a VP of her family's bank in Slocumb. The family has had the bank for years. Jay's dad set him up with several Subway franchises that he has since sold and now he into real estate development.

Any truth to the rumor that Harri Anne was Roger Bedford's campaign manager in Geneva County in his run against Jeff Sessions in 1996 for the US Senate? I've heard that but I can not confirm?

What do Jay and Harri Anne do for a living?

To 'Come On!' in comment 3,

I don't particularly have anything to add. I think the party is smart to stay out of the primaries in any official capacity. They want to have a good working relationship with the primary winner, and that's harder to do if that winner feels like the party was supporting a primary opponent.

I don't know enough to have a basis for saying the state GOP wants Love to win the CD-2 primary. Grimes seems to think Hubbard is playing favorites. Apparently Hubbard and Love are friends, and that's a tricky line to walk for Hubbard. Anyone naturally wants to be helpful to their friends, but Hubbard and the party don't want to commit any party resources toward giving Love or anyone else an edge over the others.

BTW, on the issue of the secretary with a "Jay Love" sticker... let's say she wanted to have a bumper sticker for your candidate on her car, but Hubbard insisted that she couldn't. It's not difficult to imagine that some would complain that Hubbard was dictating what an employee could and couldn't do in her private life when she isn't even a party official.

I am really more of a fascinated observer than anything else. I am sure that if there is something worthwhile to be said about it, folks with weightier opinions will jump in.
