As a Cullmanite, nobody respects the Folsom name more than me, but he is not going to run in this Senate race. His sights are squarely set on 2010. I said nearly a year ago that Bud Cramer would be the strongest possible candidate who might actually consider running. Now that he's retired, my guess is that he will become a lobbyist, maybe for the anticipated John Breaux/Trent Lott joint venture. That leaves us with Vivian Figures. Not going to happen.
