I love the cushy prison remark in the B’ham News editorial, atleast I think it was an editorial. Siegelman’s wardrobe upon exiting federal prison Friday makes the Guantanamo detention center garb look uptown.

Thanks, G, for the heads up!
The Parlor uses a script every morning to post the Daily News Digest that is prepared by G (a real friend to the Parlor), and the script is not doing well when a url in the digest has a comma. I fixed manually today what the script broke, and I’ll see if we can fix the script.
This gives me a good opportunity to say again how much I appreciate the Daily News Digest every morning. Thank you for that, G!

The Article on McClain has the kind of detail that sounds like insider knowledge. Of course Bret Blackledge never would reveal his sources. Dare I suggest this detail suggests a background source that may not be entirely legitimate? The story reads like the kind of detail in a story reviewing a (federal) indictment. I think no one, even the DA’s could reveal the evidence a Grand Jury listened to but it sounds like that rule is being broken.

If they were a private business, they’d be expected to deliver better service with less funding year after year. Those that succeeded would remain in business…

Puh-lease, Homey. And the Dems are no different? Just take a look at what joe Turnham said in the Gadsden Times: he doesn’t care who is the Dem nominee, just as long as it’s someone who can win. “I want a win worse than I want to see any person.” If you could show Turnham that Castro could beat McCain, he’d be for Castro.
