She didn't deliberately hide that money with dirty campaign tricks like Jay Love. And I find it highly interesting that Love seems to be using the same tactics of hiding his donors until after the election in this race as he did in 2002.

Another qualifier. Weak Weak Weak.

Any response (or qualifier) on the money she took in 2006 from the State Employees Association? That was in "this millenium".

Let's put it this way - since Jay Love has been in politics - the last two state elections - he has taken thousands of dollars from AEA. In that same period, Harri Anne Smith has taken zero. Nada. Goose egg.

That is a fact.

[...] Whereas voters in Illinois and elsewhere may be taking out their dissatisfaction on GOP candidates, plenty of Alabama Republicans are glad that is not so much the case in Alabama - to the point that a Democrat (Tom Butler) interested in a seat held by a retiring Democrat (U.S. Rep. Bud Cramer) would rather switch and run as a Republican. Even the Democrats in Alabama who are running for Congress as Democrats are not particularly embracing the Democrat label. [...]

Bluedog, your ignorance or lack of experience with SOS reports is showing. The SOS just posts finance reports made by AEA etc. - the mistakes on them are NOT made by the SOS office. This mistake was made by AEA.

Harri Anne Smith did NOT take AEA money in this millenium. Her report is correct - AEA made a mistake and that can be easily proven (and will be if needed) by bank records. There is no need for HER to amend her report when it is correct - the mistake is AEAs.

She didn't take AEA money in this millenium. It is fact. You need to forget this one Bluedog.

No - wrong again Blue Dog. You are wrong a lot, BTW. Harri Anne Smith did NOT vote for Amendment One and that is proven fact. The entire senate voted for the bill to allow the REFERENDUM - HB1; the taxes were contained in a package of about 20 OTHER bills - she voted NO on all taxes (source: Alabama Legislative Information System Online - 2003 first Special Session). She voted against each and every tax - Jay Love and David Grimes voted FOR the taxes(again, the source is the Alabama Legislative Information System online - 2003 First Special Session). By the way, this also proves that Love did NOT just "vote for the referendum" as alleged earlier on this board - the referendum and the taxes are in SEPARATE bills. So the record PROVES Love and Grimes voted YES on the REFERENDUM AND THE TAXES. THAT is cold hard fact - no qualifiers.

I seem to be citing provable facts a lot more than you, BTW Blue . . .
