Sounds like we are seeing a rerun of the equity funding case.

Ummm, David Bronner was a boy genius in the 90’s, but he’s not doing so well in this decade. I wonder what the reason?

  • Anonymous

    Willie,
The loss is in the neighborhood of $5,500,000. That is a much smaller portion than many institutional investors. The fact that it is so small shows that Bronner was quite wise. Now, since Bush is running the entire economy in the ground, even Bronner’s genius won’t protect the fund from an overall hit over the next year or so.

I think the legislature has been working against Bronner too.

I think not, AEA, ASEA and various city halls, utility boards, etc would smite any legislator silly enough to cross Bronner.

As to why RSA recently lost money, its quite obvious, our legislators won’t do the sensible thing and pass the gourmet beer bill by acclamation.

Working in the Bubble

I often hear a lot of talk about the bubble of Montgomery. From time to time I am reminded about this and it could never be more glaring than the current debate regarding gambling. As the news media and political ads have taken to the air debating Governor Riley’s raid on Victory Land and Country [...]

HAPPY FEBRUARY

Under the “B” … June 1

I’ve tried to follow BINGO rules and BINGO raids.  I’m not sure I understand the law, nor do I get the motives of many of the principal players.  I bet many of you know a heck of a lot more about this than I.  But one thing I am [...]
