Are you kidding? They've been re-electing him for 28 years! His voting record and stances haven't changed at all. He's always been considered a conservative democrat and has extreme support on both sides of the fence. As far as the GOP is concerned, they would love to have someone like Butler on their team. He's already gotten an endorsement from Riley and I'm sure there's already talk in Washington about Tom running.
