Ed Gentle, Susan Parker, or any other Democrat in Alabama would have to either be crazy or have a political death wish if they ran against Lucy Baxley. Who has a firmer hold on the Democratic base in Alabama than her right now? No one.

The article does not mention Jan Cook, current Democratic member of the PSC. Does Ms. Cook plan to run for PSC President?

I have heard no word that Jan Cook has thought about running for PSC President, and I would be surprised if she did.
But you never know…

I will personally do everything in my power to make sure that Lucy Baxley is not elected!

Lucy Baxley is a fine Christian lady who served us well as Lt. Governor, it is a pitty that the stroke has taken such a toll on both mind and body.
