HD 12 Looks Close

House District 12 highlighted in ALThe race for state House District 12 between Democrat James Fields and Republican Wayne Willingham looks to be quite a horse race.

One partisan told me that polling shows the candidates to be close, within the margin of error to one another. I asked someone close to the other campaign for a take, and the reply was, “If the election were held today, I wouldn’t be surprised if they tied. That is how close it will be.”

Who will motivate and turn out their base to a greater degree? The special election will be on January 29.
