St. Clair News-Aegis – Presents an editorial on the Immigration Commission’s work, asks who benefits from a guest worker proposal and has a proposed solution. There is also an article about the arrest of three women on charges they obtained 10,000 car tags and titles by fraud. It is said the tags and titles were obtained to benefit the Hispanic community.

Sumter County Record-Journal – Sumter County Tax Collector is cited by State Auditor’s office for 23 errors in keeping the books. The paper provides a PDF copy of the audit report.

Andalusia Star News – Provides local coverage about State Rep. Holley’s switch to the GOP.

The Randolph Leader – Gives a list of the charges filed against Roanoake’s mayor.

Franklin County Times – Red Bay City councilman resigns for personal reasons. He was recently arrested for DUI.
