Any one else wonder if and when Roy Johnson will be indicted in the junior college mess? Seems like they are getting closer all the time.
Is slow population growth a bad thing? I don’t think so, less competition for jobs, lower demand for water and development, less urban congestion.

I’m a state employee and even *I* don’t have that many off days. I would have loved to have been off Christmas Eve, or have off New Year’s Eve. No, I’ll be working.
B’ham News may want to clarify as to WHICH state employees have all those “extra” benefits, because it sure as Hell isn’t anyone I know or work with.

Won’t worry too much about the papers think on this issue. These editorials roll out every year about this time for at least the past 28 years. Various lobbies are much too strong to trim the holiday list.
