Prattville Progress - Autaugaville officials have filed suit seeking removal of a town council member who has yet to resign her elected position although she has lived in another state for nearly two years.

Hartselle Enquirer - Article discussing the tax impact of four road construction bills to be introduced in the Legislature.

The Selma Times-Journal - The Selma Water Works and Sewer Board is lifting water restrictions.

Decatur Daily - Smoking ban too hot for chamber.

Talladega Daily Home - E911 Board member proposes he resign and be appointed board member emeritus and general legal counsel.

Larry Langford rule. She intends to move back to Prattville sometime, therefore she can remain in office.

Somewhere legal minds are writing a brief arguing that if we can have absentee voters why not absentee council members.
