There is nothing more amazing to me than the upswing in various polls for Obama and Huckabee. Don't know but a few that would have given them any chance at all. Both appear to be charismatic personalities with positive messages to tell. If this persona is correct, these two could provide a less vitrolic matchup that focused more on issues than "hardball" politics. Furthermore, I believe that is the type of race that would be good for the direction of the nation.

bhmhomeboy,

I don't know the answer, but reputable companies know how to get representative samples that produce solid results that should be reproducible by anyone else doing reputable work.

They surveyed 500 Alabama likely voters. I wonder how many were Republican, or men, or women or African American, or Hispanic.

The low numbers for Obama and Edwards in the dinner time question should be troubling for their campaigns.

[...] A majority of likely voters in Alabama believes that the prosecution of former governor Don Siegelman was at least “somewhat likely” politically motivated according to the poll released this week by Rasmussen Reports that was referenced in the last post. Fifty-six percent of likely voters in Alabama responded that it was “very likely” or “somewhat likely” that the prosecution of former governor Don Siegelman was politically motivated. Thirty-five percent those polled believed it “not very likely” or “not at all likely” that the prosecution was politically motivated. How likely is it that the prosecution of former governor Don Siegelman was politically motivated? [...]
