3 of 4 GOP Candidates Lead Clinton in Alabama
In a poll of Alabama likely voters on 2008 potential presidential election matchups, Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton trails three top GOP candidates (Giuliani 48%-42%, Thompson 49%-43%, McCain 50-39%) and ties one (Romney, at 43%). The poll was released this week by Rasmussen Reports and represents improvement for Clinton over a similar poll from Rasmussen Reports in September.

The low numbers for Obama and Edwards in the dinner time question should be troubling for their campaigns.

They surveyed 500 Alabama likely voters. I wonder how many were Republican, or men, or women or African American, or Hispanic.

bhmhomeboy,
I don’t know the answer, but reputable companies know how to get representative samples that produce solid results that should be reproducible by anyone else doing reputable work.

There is nothing more amazing to me than the upswing in various polls for Obama and Huckabee. Don’t know but a few that would have given them any chance at all. Both appear to be charismatic personalities with positive messages to tell. If this persona is correct, these two could provide a less vitrolic matchup that focused more on issues than “hardball” politics. Furthermore, I believe that is the type of race that would be good for the direction of the nation.
