I have not seen any polling James has done. Most of them do not release such numbers to the public as Smith did unless they are trying to bolster their case. I do know that he is very serious about the race and has been talking to a lot of people in Washington, Montgomery and around Alabama. There is a lot of good talk about him. He did well in Smith’s poll and he has money to finance a race. It will be interesting to see if he runs or if he holds off for an office in 2010.

Has James said one way or another of what he is going to do? I have not seen any poll numbers that he released only those that Sen. Smith has done.

She has your eyes on Riley’s job. If that’s the case she should stick to state not federal politics. We don’t a one term representative in Congress!

Is no one paying attention to her true ambitions????????????????????? She has no interest in Congress just interest in promoting herself I believe. District 2 deserves better in my opinion. The parlor should follow up on this and see how she reconciles her interest now versus her answer two months ago. My how a poll and a back room decision can change some politicians. I want a candidate that is not in all of this double talk.

She may can win if Tim James (amd his money) stays out of the race and all of the montgomery area candidates jump in and split resources and votes. If all that happens and she wins big in her senate counties of geneva, houston and dale she will be in good shape. if she adds other wiregrass counties to the mix, she can win and possibly without a run off. She camapaigns well and is rather popular in the district. So without a candidate that will come to the southeat part of the district with a lot of money (i.e. advertising) she can take this with a little bit of effort.

She will not win this race. Her chances for other races are better in my opinion, that a shot at US Congress.

I agree with GOPer. Senator Smith’s inability to grasp issues is only surpassed by her inflated ego. If she runs this race, my point will be proven time and time again.

Agreed. Back room politics at its worst. Harri Anne will not do well outside of her niche here locally. It is ego gone wild. And the fool that believes this was a BCA group knows nothing of who participated in the group. If anything it was a local Mayors group.
