PSC President’s Race Update
This week’s AP story that Republican PSC President Jim Sullivan “plans to run for re-election next year” sounded to my ear as if Sullivan was stoppping short of making a definite commitment.
“There’s a reason for that,” a source close to Sullivan told the Parlor. “He has not definitely decided to run.” The source had no reason to believe that Sullivan would not run, but was emphatic that it would be premature for anyone to conclude that the decision had definitely been made.
Sullivan has been President of the Public Service Commission since before some of you were born (i.e., 1983).

Sounds like a professional politician speaking. Never commit to a course of action until you have to. This remark subject to clarification, expansion and/or out right disavowal at a later date.
