I love how you put your spin on the titles of these articles. “Ransville
attorney says Governor met with…Rove…” Keep up the good work Danny!

  • PATEFORGOV

Danny, you missed one story from the Times Daily and other papers for today’s clips. It is pasted below for you to review. Who would have guessed that STAN PATE would end up in the middle of this Siegelman mess. The wheels are beginning to come off for the Siegelman campaign crowd…

Just as a point of clarification – Danny does not post the digest each day, so any concerns about the “spin” shouldn’t be directed toward him. I choose the articles, and I present them the way I see them. The fact that the article contained the attorney’s statement that the gov did meet with Rove was, to me, the most significant content of the article. The fact that you didn’t see it in that same light merely reflects differing points of view. If you dislike the presentation, it won’t hurt my feelings if you ignore the digest. I’m responsible for the content, and it reflects articles that I consider of interest.

Thanks, PATEFORGOV, I missed the articles you reference in your comment. But once again, the digest is not meant to be all inclusive. It’s what I find each morning, and certainly some articles are missed in that daily process. I’d encourage anyone to add articles that they think others would find of interest.

The fact that Danny does NOT post the digest or select the descriptive titles for the articles is simply more evidence of his left-wing, liberal, Democrat-loving, Republican-hating and unpatriotic bias.

  • Where'sDanny???

G – Your bias bleeds through. If that was what you saw as the most significant point in
that article, then you need say no more.

  • G

Where’s Danny, I’ll let this be my last comment on the issue. At no time have I attempted to say that the digest was free of bias – I do try to include articles that represent all sides, but I’m certain that personal preferences and opinions come through. It’s what it is – including those preferences. Again, if you want to find a collection of news articles that is entirely free of personal bias, look somewhere else. I won’t be offended by your choice, and hope that you won’t be offended by mine.

  • G = BIAS

Thank you for clarifying. Now everyone understands – per your admission – your bias.

  • Big Mo

some of you folks really need to lighten up

  • walt moffett

Big Mo, maybe a switch to decaf for some would help?

Moving on, the good news of the day seems to be more land for Monte Sano park. The bad being Hyundai can’t sell cars. Seems that plant would be a likely spot for organizers.

  • Section 8

STAN PATE – that explains a LOT. There is no bigger nut case in Alabama politics – and that is saying a lot since Don Siegelman was once certified as a “section 8 – mentally unfit to serve’ by the U.S. military (yes i have seen the papers – lots of people in Alabama have).

Pate is a truly pathetic individual. If he is tied to Simpson, she is in bad shape already.

  • I love it. Over 650 Daily News Digests posted, no doubt more than 6000 news links shared, countless others considered, 7 days a week, and finally someone has revealed that G is an agenda-driven maniac. Thanks!

    :)

As for comment #1, thank you for the good word and encouragement. I appreciate it!

    Thanks, Big Mo and Walt…

    Interesting comments. Fun day.

I’ve tried to follow BINGO rules and BINGO raids.  I’m not sure I understand the law, nor do I get the motives of many of the principal players.  I bet many of you know a heck of a lot more about this than I.  But one thing I am [...]
