Riley has repeatedly touted the $ 1 million award from Worldwide Interactive Network, even though he has been told the money was never paid and despite the fact the company was awarded multiple contracts with the state. Why don't some of you loyal Riley lovers ask the governor for an inquiry into the new employment of Mr. Alford. You might find it interesting to learn Mr. Alford helped send money to colleges and vendors that he now has links to. Might want to ask about a multi-million dollar grant Alabama and Mississippi got from the US Dept of Labor. Where might you ask has that money gone. Surely none has found its way to Mr. Alford or the interactive company? Seems to be lots of questions about various two year colleges. Some of the ones involved with the US Labor grant are the very same colleges being challenged on other issues. But- have you heard anything about the Labor grant that will essentially award millions to various vendors with no bid process. You repubs really think no body is paying attention do you? I recently listened to the Alabama House in session for about two hours via the Internet. The two hours was spent on House Bill 243, sponsored by Rep. Terry Spicer from Coffee County. It finally passed and immediately the House adjourned.
