Roy, actually Beyerle was quite nice and friendly. Friday, he called me back giving me a hard time (laughing and friendly) saying I stole his thunder on the Senate Democrats’ retreat at Ross Bridge. Said he had been typing a story for the Sunday paper on it. But very nice.

And I appreciate he got my name correct after a story in The Huntsville Times a while back didn’t.

Henry, not sure what kind of response you would expect from Hubbard, but for whatever it’s worth, it didn’t strike me as inappropriate. I can’t help but wonder what he could say that would strike you as a wonderful response.

Was Beyerle as openly hostile to you when he conducted the interview? Does he publish his own residence or other employment when he writes a story? What a tool.
