Roy, actually Beyerle was quite nice and friendly. Friday, he called me back giving me a hard time (laughing and friendly) saying I stole his thunder on the Senate Democrats' retreat at Ross Bridge. Said he had been typing a story for the Sunday paper on it. But very nice.

And I appreciate he got my name correct after a story in The Huntsville Times a while back didn't.

Henry, not sure what kind of response you would expect from Hubbard, but for whatever it's worth, it didn't strike me as inappropriate. I can't help but wonder what he could say that would strike you as a wonderful response.

What a pitiful response from Mike Hubbard, he doesn't have a chance running for Governor.

"Jones, an Alabama blogger who was reluctant to be personally identified, asked that details about his residence and unrelated day job not be used."

Was Beyerle as openly hostile to you when he conducted the interview? Does he publish his own residence or other employment when he writes a story? What a tool.
