Clinton’s “Small Donor Event” in B’ham
The Political Parlor has learned from reliable sources that President Bill Clinton will hold a “small donor event” in Birmingham to raise money for his wife’s presidential campaign. This is in addition to the fundraiser scheduled for a private home in August. Individuals may hear Clinton speak at the “small donor event” for $25.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign rival Barack Obama held a similar event in Birmingham on July 9. That “small donor event” raised about $50,000 (if the roughly 2000 attendees made the $25 donation) on a day his campaign raised over $100,000 in Huntsville and Birmingham.
