Kathy, I know it was a joke and it wasn't a bad one either, but more seriously, a similiar situation occurred in a Jefferson County race last year in which most of us democrats were fooled big time by the candidate. I know nothing of the Marsh brothers politically and actually, I have never heard of them, but sometime we have to think and gather more information before we support someone based on just what party initial is by their name, like you correctly alluded to in your post.

"Kathy, it depends on why is he is running under a different party. You have to consider that question."

Yeah, now that I think about it, their Thanksgiving dinners are likely already strained. :)

Barbara, I was making a joke. Perhaps a bad one. Marsh may be running as a Democrat because he is one. I suppose he might put the D after his name because he'd have a greater than zero chance of winning the Democratic primary. There's no way he'd take out Sessions in the Republican primary.

So David's going to run as a Democrat, and his brother is a Republican. That should make for an interesting Thanksgiving dinner this year. :) Thanks for keep us updated, Danny.
