Fun with PACs
In a moment of great inspiration, Dan at Between the Links has created his own political action committee (PAC) registered with the Secretary of State’s office with an official purpose that is more candid than most:
To filter funds from controversial or unpopular groups to other PACs and candidates for the purpose of hiding the actual source of a candidate’s campaign campaign money from voters.
That’s rich.
If the Senate chooses to pass on another opportunity to ban the PAC-to-PAC money transfers that obfuscate the sources of campaign funds, then call it what it is. Hats off to Dan.
