Textile plant closings? But I saw the ad on TV this morning, saying vote YES on the Amendments to keep Alabama’s economy THE STRONGEST!
And the Roy Johnson saga continues — y’know, Dept. of Postsecondary Ed. had a Turnham working with them for years (she retired a few months ago) … purely coincidental, of course.

The Fire College/Junior College mess is starting to show some very interesting kudzuish offshoots and tendrils.
Looks too that eventually this will be spun (cf the Decatur Daily editoral) into a yet another vast conspiracy to overthrow democracy, two party rule, etc.
Has there been an credible opposition to the two amendments? Been hearing blipverts to vote for Amendment 1 and the usual mail from RSA, etc about Amendment 2
