Bill Richardson Tries to Shed a Tier
Both parties have essentially three first-tier presidential candidates and several more seeking to break into that group from the next tier.
New Mexico’s Democratic Governor Bill Richardson has created some humorous TV ads hoping to help spring him into that top tier.
I appreciate the attempt at humor.

I give him credit for irony as well. The post did not mention where the TV ads are running but the theme of “I gotta interview these politico guys, and this is how it went” is good. Because, it shows somebody trying to present real-world stuff (We did this and it created XXthousand jobs, we did this and New Mexico went from 44th to 28th in education ratings) and then how the politicos take it (not what we’re looking for now, we’ll get back to you). The beautiful thing going on here is that the consultant-candidate process is made to look ridiculous. This is a great anti-Beltway ad and I dearly hope that the this idea will spread. Hey Hilary/Barack/John Lissen Up Dammit!
