Not Yet 18
While Senate factions scramble to be on the side that can get the 18 votes necessary to organize the Senate and elect the president, one of the six dissident Democratic Senators told one of my sources today that the coalition of Republicans and conservative Democrats did not have 18 solid votes, and that the process would keep going until the organizing session in January.
