Wheels Falling Off Campaign Wagon

The wheels may be coming off of the campaign wagon for District Judge Tim Riley who is running as a Republican against Democrat Howard Hawk for Circuit Judge in Marshall County. Judge Riley apparently sealed a lawsuit involving former Marshall County Republican Party chair Jason Upton because Riley “knew the political ramifications.”

Look for it to get worse for Riley.

FYI, the campaign started badly as Hawk felt Riley “ran out on his word” after telling Hawk that Riley (who was a Democrat at the time) would not run against him. Hawk published a letter in the spring in several area newspapers saying that Riley had broken a promise to him.
