King – Riley Lose Supreme Court Appeal

The Alabama Supreme Court unanimously upheld the constitutionality of community service grants. Governor Riley and Attorney General King lose their appeal in a case in which the Attorney General should have been on the other side anyway.

Update: Riley may ask the Supreme Court for a rehearing; could block allocation of money until after Nov. 7 election.
